Too Busy to Debate [Alex Charyna]

This past monday, Pa Treasurer Bob Casey skipped out on two Pa Senate debates; the first on PCN tv (Pennsylvania's C-SPAN) between Carl Romanelli and Senator Santorum and a US Chamber of Commerce forum with only Senator Santorum.

For at least one, Casey staffers were in attendance.

Yet for some still unexplained reason, a lawyer representing Casey's campaign and a campaign worker showed up at PCN's Camp Hill studios unannounced and uninvited in the middle of the live hour-long program with Santorum and Green Party wannabe candidate Carl Romanelli.

PCN and Santorum's campaign say the two gained entry to the building by misrepresenting themselves as being with Santorum's campaign. Casey's campaign denies the charge.

"They gave the impression or misimpression that they were with the Santorum campaign to get in the Green Room," said Bill Bova, PCN's vice president of programming.

After monday's second debate at a Chamber of Commerce event, PCN TV offered the Bob Casey 15 minutes of rebuttal, which he turned down.

All this while Bob Casey is keeping such a light schedule, he can't even be bothered with debating.

Naturally, Bob Casey's skipping out on debates hasn't gone unnoticed by the Santorum campaign, who quickly released this video montage
